SDA is an independent educational consulting practice that specializes in counseling domestic and international students and their families throughout the college search and application process. SDA is founded by IECA Professional Member Christine J. Scott who works closely with students and parents to target colleges or universities that best match a student’s skills, needs and passions. SDA helps streamline the college search and application process for best results and emphasizes the need for families to fully engage the school counselor.

Helping students tell their stories to complete authentic college admission essays is an IECA specialty. Ms. Scott helps helps students find their unique stories, improve their writing confidence, and complete admission and scholarship essays that work.  We also work alongside of English teachers to deliver a cohesive program where the students do the work themselves and prepare specific essays for applications in addition to the common application personal statement.
