Scott-Deutsch Associates has provided individualized educational services to students  sand families from its New York City and Ardsley offices since 2003. As per our mission statement, we provide highly specialized services tailored to each individual family to international and domestic clients at all levels of the academic spectrum including mainstreamed students with minor learning differences.

 

Christine J. Scott- MS, SDA (School District Administrator Degree) is the founder and Director of Scott Deutsch Associates. Prior to establishing SDA, Christine was a teacher at Fiorello LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts, and an administrator at August Martin High School and Stuyvesant High School. During the tenure of Joseph A. Fernandez, she was appointed by Mayor Dinkins to the position of Special Assistant to the Schools' Chancellor. At the Bronx High School of Science in New York City, Christine served as Assistant Principal Pupil Personnel Service, Director of Counseling and Director of Admission. As Regional Associate Representative for the University of Buffalo she read admission applications for several institutions of Higher education including Skidmore, Barnard, and NYU. She then accepted the position of Director of College Counseling and Senior Associate of Academic Affairs and Diversity Coordinator at the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, NY.   

Ms. Scott served as the college specialist at Fiorello LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts (her Alma mater), from 2013 to 2017.

 

Her experiences in both public and independent schools provide a basis for understanding real world school operations and enable her to make recommendations that work in a school environment. Christine's experiences with college representatives and her many years representing students to admission officers are reflected in her helping students create personal applications with essays that are thoughtful and reflective of individual strengths and accomplishments, applications that help reflect the uniqueness of each student. You can always be assured that the essay submitted is the students’ work!
